Hi, I’m Justin, an aspiring data scientist. I'd like to work in the entertainment/media industry (music, film, TV) using advanced statistical methods to help solve complex problems affecting consumers and corporations alike. I like the idea of harvesting data from multiple sources and digging deeply into an incoherent mess to find strange patterns that reveal insights. I also have a budding interest in learning how to build and deploy ML models to make predictions and enable data-driven decision making. To me, that sounds fascinating, intriguing, mysterious and well... smart. The fact that we human beings have been able to devise the tools to do so is genius, since we know the world is always in constant flux. So... how far can we push this... Since there are so many mysteries just waiting to be solved.
